Tips on creating a killer character voice reel |
"As an actor, your character development is fundamental when preparing for a role and in this preparation a suitable character voice is essential in order to create a credible performance. My experience at Dian's Character Voice Workshop gave me confidence to reach new and exciting elements of my voice, as well as stretching my comfort zones as a performer. Dian's personable and helpful approach created a great rapport with the group which allowed everyone to relax and explore their voices freely. It was a truly fascinating and fun workshop I believe every actor should experience." - Steph Brooks, former student - Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts
“It was very refreshing having a practitioner such as Dian open us up to such a specialised craft which she was so invested in. Not only did she have exemplary experience in her field and a world of knowledge to share with her students, but a caring and understanding nature which led us, as a group and as individuals, to feel safe and feel able to play and experiment in a creative and fun environment. Dian is an excellent practitioner who I would thoroughly recommend to anyone or any company, she is highly trained and very fun to work with.” - Ben Alderton, former student - Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts
