With the exponential growth and demand for video content by Netflix, Amazon and the emerging video streaming platforms, Lip-synching and dubbing from foreign languages into English is set to increase tenfold in the next 5 years.

Lip synch agencies and studios are setting up in London and pitching for work to dub Feature films, Animations, Cartoons, TV series and reality TV programs into English. There is however a lack of trained actors in this field and the demand largely outstrips the supply.  

Lipsynching is a very demanding VO technique, which requires excellent acting skills, brilliant cold read abilities and a specific ear for timing. This workshop will introduce you to the various techniques of lip-synch and dubbing, such as Swipe, Tone, Script to Time Code, Triangulation and Band Rythmo. With hands-on exercises and practice in a professional dubbing studio, you will discover the ins and outs of Lip-synch techniques and start your journey into this fascinating and demanding field of voice acting.

Stephane is a fantastic teacher and one of the most experienced voice actors in the business. 

Stephane Cornicard is an incredibly experienced voiceover artist, actor and voice director. Stephane has been working as a dubbing actor and director for the past 25 years in France, Spain and the UK. His credits include The Boy with the Cuckoo Clock Heart, Accused, Strawberry and Chocolate, Control and The Witch.
